Having a mattress after 2 weeks of sleeping on a foam pad is wonderful.
I have my treasures and my special Gnome nearby. You can't see it but there is a stained glass window next to the bed that gives me some privacy. This is the stained glass window Bob had made for me. The lamp was a $2.00 find at the thrift store! The quilt I made anout 28 years ago!
Hi Ruth, we spoke last year or two years ago, I don't remember but you called and we talked for a long while about your move to NC, etc., Well I have since always wanted to keep in touch with you again and regret I never did. I just found out about this blog through FB and was very surprised about your move back but regardless all the good reasons you have, you have inspired me, a lot!! I wish you all the best and hope this experience you had enriched your life only for the best!

P.S. I'd love to talk to you again sometime!
